  DEVELOPING STORY

  Another nuclear plant in Nebraska (Cooper Nuclear Station) is raising concerns. A flooding alert was issued for this nuclear power plant.

  As shown in the picture, the plant is already close to being flooded.
  The Brownville levee is reported to be dangerously close to breaking. Sandbagging efforts have been abandoned. One wonders how such a break would affect Cooper Nuclear just three miles downstream.

  Nevertheless, the Cooper plant remains in service at full power.

  

  Despite the risk of being flooded, the Cooper nuclear plant still operates at full power

  Just weeks earlier, the Calhoun nuclear plant got into trouble because of the flooding.

  Although not hitting the 100 CPM alert level (yet), radiation readings for the Fort Calhoun (Omaha, Nebraska) area have been increasing the last couple of hours, bouncing between 30 and 50.

  U.S. scientists said Friday they have developed an on-off memory switch that helped laboratory rats remember a behavior that they had forgotten.

  The brain prosthesis marks the first time that researchers have been able to duplicate the brain’s learning process, restoring memories that test rats were drugged to forget, and could offer hope for people with dementia.

  Omaha Public Power District caught lying over Nebraska accident classification

  The Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) is clearly lying about the rumoured level-4 classification! The OPPD denies such a classification even exist.
  The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEO) however clearly states the classification exists.

  Why would the OPPD deny the existence of the said classification? Damage control going wrong?

  Water Shortages Threatening France’s Nuclear Reactors

  Given the current drought conditions in France, the French government has established a committee to monitor the country’s electricity supply situation and its river flows, as 44 of the country’s nuclear reactors are cooled by river water.

  A shortage of water is threatening France’s nuclear reactor complex, as the region’s worst drought in more than a half-century drains rivers and free-flowing water to cooling reactors.

  Most French rivers have seen a significant drop in their water levels because the drought has affected half of the country’s counties, which farming unions maintain is the worst in 35 years.

  The water shortage issue is hardly insignificant, as 44 of France’s 59 reactors are situated by rivers. with the remainder located on the coast.

  The recent CDC Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report indicates that eight cities in the northwest U.S. (Boise ID, Seattle WA, Portland OR, plus the northern California cities of Santa Cruz, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, and Berkeley) reported a 35% higher amount of deaths among those younger than one year of age during the first 10 weeks after the Fukushima meltdown.

  Seven hundred and fifty light-years from Earth, a young, sunlike star has been found with jets that blast epic quantities of water into interstellar space, shooting out droplets that move faster than a speeding bullet.

  The discovery suggests that protostars may be seeding the universe with water.
