Sixth sense: humans might have a ‘magnetic sense’

Cryptochromes: do we have magnetic vision?Human retinas have the protein cryptochrome, used for magnetic navigation in some species. Humans may thus have an incipient magnetic sense! So says a study in the journal Nature Communications.
